Art Influences.

There is no denying art can be an influential force of nature, softening the edges of the institutional buildings and structures of life. My love of art can be traced back to my love of Art History. Being able to pull from masters of their craft and refreshing those ideas is a way to pay homage to the past. This work was inspired by color, something utilized well by illustrator, Jack Kirby and his "Kirby Krackle" and the rip effects seen in Clyfford Still's Abstract Expressionist works. The geometrics of the cactus and succulents is my take. (Image spray painted on cargo container.)
